MASISI is a collective of Black and Queer artists based in Miami, FL. Our mission is to serve as a channel to share the art, life, and lineage of Black Queer folks from the Afro-Caribbean diaspora to America.
With work ranging across mediums such as film, performance, events, music, visual art, spoken word and essays, we seek to uplift and support our collective efforts by creating safe spaces to nourish the mind, body and spirit of Black Queer folks worldwide.

Armen Henderson is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami, Founder of the Dade County Street Response and Director of Health Programs with Dream Defenders. As the “People's Doctor”, his programs are aimed at uplifting the social conditions of marginalized populations. Recently he has helped launch a mental health mobile crisis van as part of the Healing and Justice Center. Focus areas are climate change, disaster preparedness, street medicine, gun violence, and social determinants of health.
